Star Struck – Hollywood Club Night
Friday, 13 June 2008 Anyone who has been to LA before can tell you that we know about parties like nobody else does! Get ready for one of the brightest social events in the program – Star Struck. Make room for memories of the bright lights of Los Angeles night life! Exclusive Hollywood rooftop club opens its doors for Rotaractors to observe the cityscape of LA at night from high on a rooftop, mingle with the local Rotaractors and the guests of the city, dance to the latest beats, and most importantly – have fun. Don’t forget …
1. Register for the RI Convention via fax by 31 May 2008. The cost is US$100 for Rotaractors. Visit http://www.rotary.org/RIdocuments/en_pdf/c08_registration_en.pdf to download the form.
2. Reserve alternate Rotaract housing at the University of Southern California so you are surrounded by fellow Rotaractor stars all week! All the information you need is online at http://rotaract2008.com/housing.html – pay your deposit soon because space is limited and expected to sell out soon! You must pay a deposit to reserve your space. Current housing deposit is US$70 per person per night. Registrations for housing will only be accepted until 31 May 2008 so pay your deposit today! There will be no on site registration for housing.
3. You can still be a part of the Youth Family of Rotary Project: The Wooden Quilt. Create a 5” wooden tile to represent a project, your club, district, community or symbolic of your region.
