Location: Petree Hall in the Los Angeles Convention Center Super Stars Hollywood Bowl Volunteering, Tuesday 17 June 2008

Dress Code: Volunteers will be given a t-shirt. Casual
(jeans) and bring a light jacket or sweatshirt.

Time: 3:30pm to end of event!
•
Location: Meet at 3:30pm sharp at the Los Angeles Convention
Center Bus Stop just north of South Hall on Pico Drive. If you have any questions or if you have found any error please contact

Ticket Pick Up: You will be able to pick up your event
tickets in between plenary sessions during the Rotaract Preconvention
at the Los Angeles Convention Center and at the event bus departure
at USC. If you are staying on campus at USC, you can also pick up your
tickets from Roderick Brown (ask the front desk to get in touch with
him.) Bring your confirmation printout and a photo ID!

USC Bus Stop is located at the International Residence
College at USC. If you have received an email indicating that you have a balance remaining
to pay, you must make the full payment. USC cannot honor room reservations
without full payment. If you have any questions or if you have found any error please contact

Check In: Upon arrival at International Residents College
(IRC) dorms, you will receive your room key and roommate
assignment

We’ll give you a copy of the USC map when you check

Linens: You may pack bed linens and towels but
USC dorms provide these items.
Transportation:
•
To and From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX):
the host committee is NOT providing transportation to
and from the airport.
•
Transportation to and from Rotaract Preconvention events
is included with your event ticket.
Taxis and Shuttles:
•
Yellow Cab: about $42 flat rate for groups between LAX

at LAX for taxis available 24 hours a day.
What to Pack:
•
The weather in Los Angeles should be moderate in during
the Preconvention (about 70 degrees Fahrenheit during
the day, about 50 degrees Fahrenheit in the evenings)
•
Bring a light jacket or wrap for the evenings
•
Clothing-casual, clubbing attire, business casual and
cocktail attire will cover should cover all events for
the Rotaract Preconvention and social events
•
Toiletries and linens
Networking: Rotaract business cards, pins, or other creative
ideas will make those Rotaract connections last!
